Managing Director Of North America Named At SimCorp

Investment management solutions firm SimCorp has appointed a new managing director of its North American operations.
James Corrigan steps into the role, replacing David Kubersky.
Corrigan will help SimCorp to strengthen its offering in the US and Canada, as well as continuing to support the firm’s current users.
“North America is a key market for SimCorp where demand is driven by the need to replace legacy systems with modern solutions that can reduce cost and operational risk while also provisioning for growth. I am confident that James’ industry tenure and leadership track record will prove to be tremendous assets in helping SimCorp grow market share in the region,” SimCorp chief executive Klaus Holse said in a statement.
Corrigan previously worked at SunGard Financial Systems, where he most recently served as executive vice president of capital markets and global trading. He also held a host of managerial positions at SunGard over the past seven years. Earlier in his career, he also held leadership positions at Navigant Consulting and Headstrong Consulting.
SimCorp provides an integrated front-to-back office investment management platform that also supports asset coverage, and has two annual software releases.
In March this year, SimCorp acquired Equipos, a reporting software development firm operating in the wealth management space.
